Project Challenge:
The XTO Alexander project was the design and approval of a 1,350 gpd wastewater treatment system to service a 130 full-time and transient occupant office building in Alexander, ND.
Options considered:
Secondary treatment, which was not required due to the relatively low and intermittent flows to the facility.
Solution:
A standard soil disposal system was designed to include septic tanks and chambered disposal trenches.
Result/Performance Data:
Construction and startup took place in 2014.
