Project Challenge:
SD was contracted to identify groundwater sources in order to provide a water supply to a new lakefront development.
Environmental/Regulatory Factors:
Once the groundwater was identified, a Water Act license from Alberta Environment was acquired to allow a specified groundwater volume to the development.
Solution:
A pump test and a hydrogeological assessment, including a GWUDI Assessment, were completed to determine the viability and sustainable yield of the aquifer.
